Compact Series

Hulse Ross are currently working on a range of self contained accommodation designs for what we are calling our ‘Compact Series.
We are designing them to meet four main use possibilities :-

1)To serve as accommodation units for the short stop holiday market – long weekends, up-market fishing breaks and fishing accommodation for holidays at your lake etc.

2)Semi permanent habitation units, designed to fit into back gardens without the need for major planning permission. (Coming in at just under 25 square metres) – ideal for that ‘granny flat’ annexe or for those undertaking self-build projects.

3)Top end beach huts, pure and simple – perfect for family beach holidays and seaside breaks without the need to seek out independent seaside accommodation.

4)Office solutions – a more cultured, garden-based office accommodation for those working from home, with a bit more class than your basic portable office

As you would expect from this range of uses, the single axle chassis can be either galvanised or painted.

The main living area has a simple décor, however it can come in a comprehensive range of styles, all depending once again on the intended purpose.
We can provide full wall office accommodation, discrete wardrobe facilities, back to basics bare.
Flooring can be carpets for semi-permanents, wood for the beach, easy-clean laminate for the fisherman, with a range of pull-down double beds and furniture to match intended use, from full-on chenille fabrics through to futons.

Available in a range of styles and finishings, each unit comes with the Hulse Ross philosophy of ‘you choose’.
Depending on your final use requirements, the basic model kitchen contains a sink, cooker and fridge with freezer box, the appliances being built in if required.
Kitchen windows can come as standard front facing over sink or the option of large side windows.
Separate kitchen heating can be provided through the use of plinth heaters.

Our bathrooms are also available in a range of styles and décor, with individual layouts being offered if required. In keeping with our customer service philosophy, the bathroom furniture can be colour matched to the kitchen décor.
Close-coupled WCs add a touch of contemporary style as well as providing additional floorspace in what is already a spacious room.
Windows can be either traditional or high level for additional privacy

Heating is through convection heaters, although central heating can be incorporated throughout if required.
Options for exterior finishes? They can be traditionally clad in wood or take a more modern approach and follow the caravan market, either profiled as in statics or flat as in tourers.
Each can be fitted with either single door and Patio/French doors or single door and large window to front.
Pitched roofs give a feeling of space inside, with the pitch being either left-right or front-rear.
